If there is no equality among all beings, who has the right to decide their destiny?
A thousand years ago, Wukong suddenly appeared in the Underworld and forced Yama to hand over the Book of Life &Death. He then proceeded to erase the names of all the primates from the book, which infuriated Yama initially. However, what Wukong said after that hit Yama in the core of his soul. After that incident, Yama continued to preside over Hell, passing judgements with the Book of Life & Health to all the beings who came before him. However, he could never forget the look on Wukong's face when the he said those words to him.

Shura Wars: Putting him in the front with the right equipment, in Shura Wars Yama can be invincible even against strongest heroes like Chang'e and Goldie. From the start, Yama will use Asura Destruction even if the enemy is trying to use a stun spell, immediately afterwards he will use his Death sentence to regain any lost HP in the initial attack of his opponent. After a few more blowing attacks and with the help of his Plains of Hell spell, he is almost always guaranteed to win the fight. Shura Rating: ★★★★★
Ranking: With all his spells punching AOE damage and with life regeneration, Yama is also considered to be the king of the Ranking Arena. Because of his life leeching ability you could also spec him to be a more of a tanking hero if you are willing to neglect some of his attacking power. Another great option is to use him as a surprise attack hero from behind if you team can withstand the 4 second delay without him in the initial battle stage. Ranking Rating: ★★★★★
Story: There are many good reasons as to why you should use Yama in story mode. You can use him as a tank with his life leeching abilities, or with all his spells doing AOE damage when dealing with large amount of mobs at the same time you can finish them off quickly. Even when you are at a the boss fight, his big move attacks to put the focus of the boss onto Yama giving his teammates more time to deal damage. Story Rating: ★★★★ ☆
NightChat: Yama’s True Immortal Barrier ability gives him a rather large bonus in the NightChat battle, which would make any player grin ear to ear. While his normal attack is not as powerful and is more based on life leach, his cooldown timers give him and his teammates enough overall DPS to defeat the Demon of Ignorance. NightChat Rating: ★★★★ ☆
